About Gurudwara Sri Guru Ram Das Sahib Ji
Nestled in the heart of Pukekohe, Auckland, Gurudwara Sri Guru Ram Das Sahib Ji was established in July 2025 as a humble yet powerful step towards nurturing Sikh faith, culture, and community in this growing region of New Zealand.
Inspired by the divine teachings of Guru Ram Das Ji, the fourth Guru of the Sikhs and the founder of Amritsar, our Gurudwara stands as a symbol of devotion, humility, and unity. The Gurudwara serves as a spiritual home for all — a place where individuals and families come together in Sangat (holy congregation), Seva (selfless service), and Simran (remembrance of Waheguru).
Beyond daily prayers and kirtan, the Gurudwara fosters a strong sense of community through various initiatives such as free langar (community kitchen), youth programs, cultural celebrations, and charitable outreach. It welcomes people from all walks of life, promoting understanding and harmony among diverse communities.
